There are separate returns policies for items purchased in Dollar General stores and on the website.

Dollar General’s website says that online orders can be returned within 30 days if they are in good condition.
In some cases, it was reported that customers could return goods within 90 days.

To receive a complete refund from Dollar General for any return, your receipt is required. Dollar General employees won’t be able issue a refund to your original payment method if you don’t have the receipt.
You will be able to either get the dollar general gift card refund or exchange your item for a product with the same value or less.

Preferably, they should still be in their original packaging, and must have all paperwork, parts, and accessories still included.

If you order an item from the Dollar General website that arrives damaged or defected, you must contact Customer Services within 30 days of delivery.
