But customers might be curious as to how many Amazon Prime profiles can they create and on how many devices the account can be used simultaneously. Amazon Prime Accounts can be shared

Amazon makes it possible for Prime customers to share their Prime accounts and make them available to family members, trusted friends and others.

Prime members may also share their login information to their family or friends. They can also create profiles and build their own lists of films and shows.

However, customers are recommended to only share their Amazon account with a person who they can trust with delicate information, such as their account password.

It’s therefore recommended that members only share their accounts with those in their household or with a friend who has proven to be trustworthy (ex. significant other, best friend, etc).

What if you can simultaneously view the same video on Prime on both devices at once?

Amazon Prime Video Members can have as many as three devices connected to the internet and streaming simultaneously, but only two devices are allowed to stream exactly the same video simultaneously.

Amazon has not stated the exact reason, but it is reasonable to assume that streaming the same film from two different devices could create connectivity problems.

It is recommended that friends or relatives who are interested in watching a film together on Amazon Prime watch it from their own accounts. This will prevent issues.

Amazon Prime Can Be Shared With Other Addresses

Amazon Prime accounts can be shared with friends and family from different addresses, as long as customers are willing to share their login information.

Prime Video members are advised to protect their login information from identity theft or fraudulent charges.

It is recommended for Prime Members to not share an account with anyone they don’t trust if they still wish to share it with family or friends.

Prime members can set additional conditions to share their account. Prime Members might require that their friend/family member log out and then not save login data to their Prime app.

How Do You Add Someone to Your Amazon Prime Account?

Prime Members have two options to add additional users to Prime.

You can create a profile and share login details with them.

A second option is to set up Amazon Household. It allows family members to share their Prime accounts with Amazon account holders within their household.

To use Amazon Household all members must have Amazon accounts. Members must provide login information for each user to add accounts to Amazon Household.

Amazon Household, however, is designed for parents and children. Customers are advised to note that the only way to add users is to add a child or teen.

Members must grant access to their Amazon Prime accounts to allow them to share their account.

Can I Share My Amazon Prime Video Account Safely?

Amazon Prime Video accounts may be shared at some level of risk. In order to share a Prime Account, customers must hand over their login information to the person they wish to share it with.

A Prime Account shared can expose customers to fraudulent charges and identity theft. The other user may delete the account or give unauthorized access.

Amazon Prime customers should not be sharing their accounts with people other than their family.

But, customers can share an account with someone they trust if they wish.
